Coffee ATM- 3D Render

Key Solution

Cothas Coffee ATM is designed by taking the best design and tech features of its existing coffee Vending Machines- Milano Vending Machine and Fully Automatic South Indian Fresh Filter Coffee and Tea Brewer.

The Coffee ATM is designed to be fully functional with ease of use for the customer without any need for a barista for takeaway/ On the go purposes. It is designed to provide coffee at a touch of a button, integrated with Cash and UPI payment methods.

Customer Interaction/ User Journey

  • The user is provided with several coffee options to choose from which the user can select by pressing the button.

  • The digital LED screen displays the user selection and indicates the amount payable.

  • Users can then select the payment option from cash and UPI. Cash: Exact amount to be inserted in the cash inset. UPI: The QR code is displayed for the user to scan and pay.

  • Once the payment is processed, the user needs to take the cup from the cup dispenser and places it under the coffee dispenser.

Layout Design Explorations

The existing interior layout of the store was congested for the customers to sit and enjoy a sip of coffee.
As a result, we proposed the following layouts which could enhance the customer experience within the store.

  • An experience designed with a sense of serenity, calmness, and community.

  • Well-designed layout, ample space with consistent brand language across stores.

  • Ambient lighting

Business Prospects

  • Consistent Branding across all platforms will create a strong brand identity, recall value for the customers and increase store visibility in the area thus increasing footfall/sales.

  • Integrating spatial layout will allow better mobility inside the store for the customers and increase the store occupancy thus allowing more customers to visit the store.

  • Since the coffee shop offers coffee via Vending machine, the tech intervention of the Coffee ATM for the “Grab and Go” approach will enhance the takeaway experience, attract customers and exponentially increase sales.

  • A one-time investment in Digital menu Kiosk would increase the store's visibility, the target customer will become aware and in turn, will increase the store's footfall.

  • Implementation of subscriptions and loyalty rewards would allow the business to leverage customer relationships to create a steady stream of income.
